Toxic Living Conditions and Management That Doesn’t Care – Stay Away
The tenant below me has been chain-smoking inside their unit for over five months, and my entire apartment has been flooded with toxic cigarette smoke every single day. My health has suffered as a result of the constant secondhand exposure and the building management has done absolutely nothing. No remediation. No compensation. Just indifference. Instead of helping, they had the audacity to offer me a different unit with a rent increase. Then they tried to trap me into signing another year-long lease in a smoke-infested building. It’s disgraceful. This place is a health hazard, run by people who clearly do not care about tenant safety or well-being. I’m moving out, and I cannot stress this enough: Avoid this building at all costs. You’ll regret ever signing here.

Love living here! Especially great for location
925 apartments has a great location, is close to school, extremely close to metro, and is right by Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. You’re a short walk to Georgetown, a short ride to downtown/the monuments, and the neighborhood itself is so cute and quiet. 25th street is a super quiet one way street so you hear less sirens than apartments on main roads, especially for how close to the hospital you are.
The apartment has a 24/7 front desk staff who are super friendly, and they are great about maintenance and packages. You have a small gym, rooftop, and the laundry room is pretty nice. My unit itself I like a lot-good open layout and it has two walk-in closets for lots of storage, and while the kitchen area is a little small I make everything work and it has a full size fridge and gas stove and oven. Residents consist of mostly students and some older individuals.

Convenient but Low Quality
It's very close to campus so if you work odd hours and/or long days, it's convenient. The price isn't too bad either. It is important to note that DC itself is fairly dangerous so being out at strange hours is generally a bad idea. It does have some significant downsides. The laundry facilities are frequently out of order. You have limited control of the temperature of the apartment so the coldest it can be is around 70F. The gym has a few dumbbells, two stationary bikes, one working treadmill, one broken treadmill, and one broken elliptical. There is a 24-hour front desk worker, but they cannot help with tenant issues (smoking, noise complaints) or active crimes (your locked bike getting stolen in front of them). The biggest issue is the mold. It effects every unit I know of in the building, and they will not do anything about it except give you a dehumidifier for a max of two weeks.

Great apartment
I have had a great experience overall. My studio apartment is a good size, and I love the large windows. Overall, I don't hear too much noise from my neighbors. Sometimes the leasing office can be hard to contact by phone, but it you are in the building or in the area, you can reach them in person.

often smells like weed in hallways and neighbors have been loud at times into the evenings. Convenient location though.

So far so good
Just moved in in July and while the leasing office wasn’t the most helpful the staff at the actual apt are awesome. Everybody is so nice! The location is close to campus and there are other kids in my class in the building who i can hangout with or study with given we all live here. Also close proximity to metro and grocery stores

Love my studio!
Love the windows that span the whole apartment and the newly renovated kitchen. Amenities include unofficial guest parking for free, gym, rooftop, and great front desk staff.

No Frills but Safe and Close
This apartment is a very safe complex that is usually very quiet and within three minutes walking distance to the hospital and medical school. This is a no frills apartment (older models that could use renovating). However it has everything you need, and they are very responsive to service requests. There is a front desk to receive packages. Rent includes access to a small gym in the building. Paid parking is optional at this residence ($175 per vehicle for outdoor parking or $250 per vehicle for covered). No in unit laundry (each load is ~$2 to wash and ~$2.20 to dry)

Nice for graduate students going to GW or Georgetown
While I had some prior issues securing this place in the beginning (issues with getting management on the phone because I was an out-of-state student moving to DC for graduate school, the 925 is a great place. It's quiet and the staff is helpful if you need anything -- 24hr front desk. Great location -- Foggy Bottom Metro Station and Bus stop, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and a CVS all within walking distance. Right in Foggy Bottom, so close to Georgetown and the national mall and other tourist things. It's a nice place!

Convenient, friendly staff
The 925 apartments are super convenient (walking distance to campus, trader joes, whole foods, multiple gyms and restaurants). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The leasing manager is not the most helpful and can take a long time to get back to you. Also, the kitchens are in dire need of an update. I really enjoy my studio though. There are big windows that make it feel much bigger than it really is. Great closet space! The apartment doesn't have a gym/pool/rooftop (sad)
