Solid building in a great location
Apartment's spacious and pretty nice. The building's a little understaffed in terms of maintenance workers and I've had a few slightly negative experiences there. However, the building's in pretty good shape and it's a great location.

The Claridge is an excellent building wih a great maintenance staff
The management company is very slow to respond, but the building is a very nice doorman building and maintenance staff is extremely responsive. Some pros: several units are newly renovated; great location right on the park; electricity is included in monthly rent.

Awesome place to live!
Great location and most of the apartments are pretty nice. Gym and staff could be better, but overall an awesome place to live. Lots of Wharton students here too.

Best value of any of the doorman buildings!
Living on the Walnut St. side of the building can at times be quite loud at night, despite being on the 23rd floor. The Claridge still offers the best value of any of the doorman buildings to my knowledge, especially on the studio1BR formats.
Great and safe location - on Rittenhouse Square!
The Claridge is at an amazing location, across the street from Rittenhouse park. There are many restaurants nearby and it is an extremely safe location! Cabs are easily accessible and the bus is across the street. The staff is really responsive and helpful if there are any apartment issues. Also, they have a package room so there is someone always there for deliveries which is great for unpredictable schedules. The only con is the gym because it is a small room with minimal older equipment. However, there are other gyms nearby in the Rittenhouse area.

Great value for what I am paying. Other places may be nicer but I would have had to pay more for them.

Great value for large spaces, clean facilities, doorman service, garage access, and a gym. The location is also very convenient.
Value for money!
The building is alright. Management are good, very quick with resolving issues (usually within an hour or two). Some units are renovated, which are great, however, some units are not and those are not very nice. Overall, value for money!

Rittenhouse Square Reviews
Spruce Street in particular is great - it's a little south of the square, so is quieter/shielded from a lot of the traffic that the neighborhood gets, but it's not out of the way or far away. There's a Starbucks, a grocery store (Rittenhouse Market), and a few corner stores (Four Seasons and Food & Friends) within a 2-3 minute walk of my apartment.
