Great location. Huge difference between renovated and old apartments. Amenities are not great.

Management company is very slow to respond during the initial leasing process. However, once the lease is signed you never have to deal with them again. On the other hand, maintenance is very responsive at all hours of the day. Newly renovated units are very nice and great value.

RESIDENCE: not the newest or with best amenities but clean and decent. Staff very nice and usually helpful (tip from time to time). Best location in town (18 and Walnut) just by Rittenhouse square. Parents: the goat sculpture in the square is THE meeting point for all moms about 2min away from the front door. All amenities right there, bus 21 direct to campus 1min away. Also a great walk back from campus when the weather is nice. RENTAL OFFICE: frustratingly slow and irresponsive when you try to get information ahead of your rental, but once you're in they are nice. UNIT Large 2BR, 23rd floor, Claridge. Fantastic West-facing view on Rittenhouse sq. with stunning sunsets. Full of light, noise level OK (park noise sometimes at night, especially when they have outdoor concerts but they stop at midnight). Be careful, lower levels can be quite noisy. Good apartment size, newly refurbished kitchen, plenty of closet space. Insulation could be better and the central air is annoying- for our infant, no way to have a decent temperature (too hot or too cold) in the room. OVERALL Not the cheapest option because you pay for the location, but best value in my opinion, considering. Very good experience. Was able to sublet over the summer.

Perfect location, solid apartments, and solid staff. Gym leaves something to be desired. But overall the Claridge is very good value.

The building is very conveniently located on the park. If you're lucky, you'll have beautiful views of Rittenhouse Square. The apartments can be hit or miss in terms of how new the amenities are (e.g., kitchen) but overall it's a great place to live.

Building allows pets of all sizes, which is different from most buildings. They also include utilities and are very flexible on lease start/end date. Making an effort this year to renovate gym and add some amenities.

Great, central location with close access to the bus to school. Lots of space for the price.

While it is not the lap of luxury like some other buildings in Rittenhouse, the Claridge has been perfect for me. My studio is decently sized, the exercise room (free for tenants) has the basics I need, and the 24-hour maintenance is a huge benefit. My number-one concern moving to Philadelphia was safety, and I feel completely safe in the Claridge. The twenty-four hour doorman and the location mean that I always feel comfortable walking in and out of the building, even late at night by myself. I also feel that my apartment was well-priced and a pretty good deal for the quality of the neighborhood and location.

Great location, rooms/living rooms are well sized, great rooftop deck, door man and mail room are very convenient, maintenance is fairly receptive and helpful, my only real knock on it is the management group that runs the place is not helpful and can be difficult to work with and near impossible to get in touch with

The RIttenhouse Claridge has a number of excellent apartment units ranging from studios to one/two bedrooms. The building is well kept with 24/7 doorman. It is one of the best values of all the high-rises I viewed. The gym is not great quality but it gets the job done and they claim to be expanding it. The biggest complaint is with the management company who are less than responsive, but if you are persistent with them it is worth it.
