Don't live here

Management and maintenance are terrible and untrustworthy. Complex is dirty (has a cockroach/bug issue), repairs for the building take a long time (garage door was broken for 2 months). Office staff is rude. Townies come and use the gym. Also the residents are not friendly. Don't live here.

Great Location and Amenities

Great apartment complex with an unbeatable location relative to Fuqua. 10-15 minutes walking distance to Fuqua or less than five minutes driving. The apartments are some of the most well-appointed in the area and almost all units have hardwood floors. The community has all the features you could want, and I’ve been impressed with the variety of fitness equipment in the community gym. The building is also adjacent to several restaurants so there are plenty of weeknight dinner options when I’m in a hurry.

The community is relatively quiet and family friendly. I’ve never had any issues with noise and my 2 year old daughter does just fine here. The staff is generally very responsive and helpful with anything I need.

The only thing I don’t like is that the layout of the building is a little confusing, but that seems to be the trend with most large apartment complexes in Durham.

I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to be close to campus and the social scene but who is looking to avoid some of the noise that comes with some of the more popular apartment complexes.

Expensive Rent, Mediocre Experience; Convenient Location though

Perks:
- Really convenient location (food plaza right down stairs, and not so far from school)
- Good security inside the building* (not outside the building though, but Durham as a whole is a dangerous place)
- Fairly good management team and cleanness is fair

Weaknesses:
- Expensive rent (that does not include water, electricity, or Internet)
- An isolated building on the street
- Mandatory valet trash fee each month ($30/mo)
- Not designed for a comfortable living style

Trinity Commons 2 bedroom apt

Solid apartment. Very spacious. Worried that our rent is going to go up when our lease is done.

Convenient to School, Quiet, Great Amenities

The location is great for going to and from school. I walk or ride a bike everyday. Most residents are either older graduate students or medical professionals making it a quiet and respectful community. The amenities are fantastic

Safety is a concern, however, the bus stops right outside, unlike Campus Walk
Close to west campus, but not secure. Robberies and thefts happened sometimes at night.
Wouldn't venture out at nights, relatively safe area
Didn't interact much.. but the neighborhood is safe and there are families.
Lots of families so safe but not very social.
Really easy access to campus, highways, and a lot of quick dining options; few nightlife spots and generally quiet social scene
I would love to have some more restaurants that aren’t fast food in the area. We love eating at Nosh though!
Close to several resteruants.
