73 East Lake reviews and highlights
- amazing indoor pool, steam room, hot tub, and gym.
- the location of the building is amazing
- expensive and claims to be high-end
- management of this residence is awful
Love 73
73 is great. My partner and I regularly use the gym, grills on the 9th floor terrace, and outdoor areas, and take daily trips to the dog run. Great soundproofing from apartment to apartment, and we love the space. The only things I would change are that the elevators can get pretty backed up sometimes, and I wish my dog was allowed in outdoor common areas.

Love it here!
Management is great, maintenance is fast, utilities and amenities all work as expected. ATT fiber is available and reliable.

Great Building!
73 E Lake is fantastic! The amenities are great, the leasing office is very helpful (especially Julie), and maintenance is super fast and responsive. The gym is good for an apartment gym, and you can't beat the roof deck or the pool area. Amenities for hosting large groups are great as well and definitely prove to be useful.

73 E Lake
I love my unit, which is really spacious with née amenities and features plus an in-unit washer/dryer. The actual building itself is fine, there are probably nicer ones in the loop.

Expensive but worth it
For a couple, it really does make a lot of sense to spring for a true 1BR in 73 -- we have space, storage (huge), and a real bedroom door which makes our different schedules a lot easier to manage (like when I stumble in late on a Thursday). The building amenities are great (steam room!) and the leasing/front desk staff are amazing, highly recommend.

Great amenities but difficult management
Everything is super convenient at 73 East Lake and there are a lot of amenities. However, management is difficult to work with and aren't clear with community rules sometimes and arbitrarily enforces them. Rent can fluctuate from year to year.

Amazing Apartment Building with no so Great Love for Booth Studens
Love 73 East Lake. Please be aware as a Booth student that management is not too fond of Boothies and makes it hard to rent or reserve common areas for events etc. They have also started taking down concessions or other rent deals when they know Booth students will be looking to rent (late summer). Outside of this issue, I love the building.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
