Amazing Building - Highly Recommended!

I moved into Kingsbury Plaza in August of 2016 and I have no complaints. The staff and maintenance have been very helpful, the amenities are incredible and I absolutely love the location. Only downfall is that parking is quite steep but it's like that everywhere.

Luxurious and Friendly But Not Spacious

I've lived in Kingsbury Plaza for a little over a year and haven't had many complaints. The apartment has a high end luxury feel to it, and the balcony has great views of the city. Building staff have always been really friendly and greeted me with a smile. My only complaint is that the apartment itself is a bit small.

Great Pet Friendly Apartment

Very great place to live! They are very accommodating if you have any pets, and they have a gym and they give you a Parking space. It is in river north so it's super close to the Loop and everything fun I'm downtown, and it's right by the river! Good

Couldn't be happier!

Kingsbury Plaza is the best apartment complex in River North. Great staff, great amenities and awesome perks. The building is considerably cheaper than many nearby options, and is well managed and well maintained, making it a great value. The parking garage ($235/month) is attached, which I didn't think was that important until my first Chicago winter. Incredibly thankful to not have to walk outside to get to my car. Would definitely recommend this building!

Kingsbury experience

I love the location and layout of the building. The amenities could be a bit better but overall I do enjoy the place. The rent is becoming a bit too expensive though. It is also challenging to rent a space independently as it is much more affordable to rent with a romomate.

Home Sweet Home

Kingsbury Plaza offers amazing river views, great layouts that fit my large furniture and larger outdoor space than most other apartments we saw. That was a huge deciding factor since I love morning coffee on the deck. The fitness center can get a little crowded, but you just need to find the right time to go.

Kingsbury Plaza

Good location, newly renovated. Management is not very professional, had some issues with my apartment. Very expensive for what you get. Walls are thin so you can hear everything in the hallway. My bathroom had to be completely redone and fixed and they kicked me out of teh unit with days notice and didn't refund those days of rent

Kingsbury Plaza

This is a great apartment building with a great location and I absolutely love it. The staff is great and I love how we are connected to East Bank Club. We also have amazing views over the river with great natural light. Convenient to get to River North or West Loop!

Awesome Apartment

This apartment building is fantastic. The people are great, and management is pretty great, with the exception of their 'no fun' policy on the rooftop deck: no balls, no frisbees, no putting, no music, no drinks in or on the edge or the pool...Other than that, they throw great parties for the residents, and any maintenance issues are quickly resolved. Also, it's a great dog friendly building right on the river. Main disadvantage is the the closest grocery is on Kinzie and Desplaines. It would be great if the building had a little bodega for convenience.

Absolutely loving it! People are always out and about and it is a great place to enjoy with your friends! It is also close to a bunch of other great neighborhoods and so if you want to venture out, it is really easy to do so!
We love River North. It doesn't feel as commercialized as Streeterville or the Loop while still being in the thick of it. We can walk to nearly anything we could ever want. We visit the lakeshore trail and riverwalk regularly. Lincoln Park is a mile away, but that doesn't stop us from walking to the farmer's market on Saturdays (also passing the one on Division and Dearborn along the way).
Love river north! Really downtown and close to it all. Super young area with a ton of bars and restaurants. Also a quick walk to loyolas Watertown campus that I study at on the weekends.
It's great in the sense that its very central. I can get to school easily as well up to lincoln park, wicker and west loop. Also lots of walkable restauraunts and bars. BUT less green space and definitely a more "downtown" vibe
The neighborhood is relatively safe and well lit. It is great to be so close to many bars and restaurants and have close access to public transportation
An expensive neighborhood to live in, but you feel way more enmeshed in the city here than you do over in streeterville in my opinion.
This place is very touristy and often quite crowded, but it feels very safe and there is a lot to do. Restaurants tend to be very crowded but I've been to a couple that are very good - just need to make reservations in advance. There are also cheaper eating options (chipotle, etc). Within walking distance to a lot of fun places like Navy pier and the museum campus!
The River North Gallery District or simply River North, in Chicago, is in the Near North Side, Chicago. It hosts the largest concentration of art galleries in the United States, outside of Manhattan. River North has experienced vast changes in the years 1990 - 2012 including the development of vast highrise buildings, nightclubs and restaurants. River North has become one of Chicago's top neighborhoods for nightlife especially on and around Hubbard Street.

A common definition puts the River North neighborhood in the area north of the Chicago River and the Merchandise Mart, south of Division Street, east of the Chicago River and west of Wabash Avenue. Along with hundreds of art galleries, the area holds many bars, dance clubs, popular restaurants and entertainment venues.
