Well-managed building + convenient location

North Water is a clean, efficiently managed and comfortable building. All the of the building staff is very friendly and helpful. The common areas are great, with the roof deck having beautiful views of the lake and city. The apartments facing east have beautiful, unobstructured lake views. The apartments aren't huge, but very efficiently designed.

Amazing Apartments.

Brand new apartment building, amazing facilities with lounge, swimming pool and rooftop access. Also, whole bunch of conference rooms and common areas for parties. The first 15 floors are part of LOWES Hotel, 5 star with bar and largest rooftop in Chicago - Streetervile Social.

Streeterville Reviews

Very safe. Easy access to the lakefront and riverwalk. Relatively quiet in the evening. Skews older. Nearby River North, where the restaurant scene is better and more lively.
A bit of a hike to the train near MPP each morning

Don't think that Streeterville is multi-level -- makes it hard to call Ubers and to walk place -- also far from the subway lines

Limited bars and restaurants although there is a Whole Foods, Target, Corepower Yoga, etc. nearby
Streeterville is a very nice neighborhood. There are plenty of parks and grocery stores. There is some late night crime due to the location downtown and close to the beach, but overall nothing worse than anywhere else.

There are some more expensive restaurants and fast food places. Navy Pier attracts a lot of tourists and they can be annoying to navigate around.
I enjoy living in Streeterville since it's near many of Chicago attractions without feeling overwhelming like in the Loop. I am able to walk around safely at night and I like going jogging in Millennium Park. My biggest complaint would be the lack of greenery in the area and how the city can feel a little bit insulating at times. Public transportation is great. This area is pricey, which is why I decided to have a roommate.
The Streeterville area was still pretty sleepy when I moved here three years ago. Since then, there has been an incredible amount of development. New luxury apartments and condos are going up, several new restaurants, a brand new target and Whole Foods. Its become a great place for professionals who enjoy living downtown, but without the club crowds in River North.
There are a few buses that are near by that help get residents down to the loop. Also it's pretty easy to walk around and the cross walks are pedestrian friendly. I'm always able to get around by foot and buses/trains. Streeterville is a very safe neighborhood and I've never felt unsafe walking around at night. The streets are well lit.
Noise is not usually too big of an issue in this neighborhood; it's pretty quiet at night.
There are multiple grocery stores nearby for multiple choices. Also there are a bunch of great places to eat so one will not get bored with options.
Close to grocery stores (Whole Foods and Treasure Island), Target Express opening later in 2015, about a 10 minute walk to red line subway but lots of nearby bus lines, LA Fitness and Planet Fitness are the closest gyms. Safe area with high foot traffic towards Navy Pier.
Streeterville is essentially a more remote (and better smelling) River North. Close to Navy Pier, so can be congested in the summer. Right on the river, which is great. Right down the road from Northwestern Medical and law school, so pretty safe neighborhood overall.
