Location

Convenient to all train lines. Less than a mile from the lake front running path. Easy to get North or South and only 20-25min to campus. I really like this location.

Good building. Experience dependent on landlord

As a condo building, your experience as a renter is dependent on the landlord of the unit. The building management can be tricky, but the amenities and staff are nice.

Awesome, simple apartment

While this is not the most glamorous apartment complex, it's affordable and the staff makes living there easy. The door staff are super friendly and they look out for you. Building management is nice and responsive. Things arent very upgraded but it definitely works as a student apartment.

Overall not so great

Mediocre management, constantly broken elevators/laundry. No sense of urgency by management to fix accommodations, always over selling and under delivering on project completion dates. Poor quality of staff.

Great Community

Overall I would give this a 7/10. The absolute highlight is the staff, they are incredible. Know you by name right away, friendly, always on top of everything. The biggest downfall of this building is by far the elevators and the construction that is constantly going on in the building, mostly because it is old. My 2 bedroom has so much space and an amazing view though, just wish it was more updated.

200 N Dearborn Review- Great Location

Great place to live! Location is great right next to all L lines. If you are a student going to UIC it's easy to get there. River north is right there so you have a great area to go out and it is walking distance. View from the building is amazing and never gets old.

Great Location and Good Facilities

I've lived here a little over a year and have zero complaints. The doormen are very friendly and greet me by name. They are currently updating the elevators which is a pain, but it will be much better when they are completed. Parking and rent is expensive, but that is to be expected given the location.

Building also includes a small gym (very basic workout machines/treadmill and bike), a small indoor pool, and a laundry room.

Bright amazing view!

If you want an amazing view of lake Michigan and be 1 minute walk out your door to ALL the L stops, this apartment is for you! Great location! Friendly staff and helpful management. Apartments vary in design and set up but floor to ceiling windows are the best!

Best location in the loop!

This is a quiet area of Chicago, downtown loop, and the best location to ALL of the L stops. You can get anywhere in the city as quickly as needed. Beautiful view of both the river and lake. Wonderful, friendly door staff keep the place feeling safe!

The Loop Reviews

Very secure and tranquil. Very close to public transportations. Namely millennium station which I use to ride the Metra trains to campus.
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
Loop is central and great to get to other neighborhoods. Quick train access to Hyde Park (35min door to seat). Mostly MBA students in building
Feels like a neighborhood even though you are in the heart of the city
The Loop is great because it is so easy to get anywhere in the city! Also, we are next to many cool sights, and River North is very walkable.
Location is central to everything and with majority of students living here, hard to envision living elsewhere during Booth
Great access to stores, restaurants, and excellent transit to get anywhere in Chicago you may want to go to!
Location is good in terms of transit proximity. The loop is not a great area for food/activities but river north is very close and has grocery stores/restaurants, etc.
It’s the loop. It’s full of tourists, but all my friends live here. Trade offs are everywhere. Sooooo close to train (under rated).
