Nothing fancy but cheap

I have been enjoying my experience here. I wanted to live near the lake front but have quick access to the pink line in order to attend Rush. Utilities are included in rent price which makes it easier to live on a budget. The reason why this is a cheaper option though is because there are no amenities. Would love a gym and a pool, but I appreciated the ability to choose a much cheaper option while still maintaining quality of what is available. Only real issue I have is that the AC/Heater system is LOUD. I have to sleep with ear plugs in through the night or else the system will wake me up.

Awesome location in the Loop, small apartment

Signing the lease was a pretty painless problem, however for 2 weeks we did not have a working toilet. The management is not the most responsive but the price for the apartment is good since it is located in the heart of the Loop.

There are no dishwashers throughout the building and laundry units are on the floor.

The apartments inside are relatively nice and some even have hardwood floors. The hallways are dirty and stained but the actual apartments inside are better.

The Loop Reviews

Very secure and tranquil. Very close to public transportations. Namely millennium station which I use to ride the Metra trains to campus.
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
Loop is central and great to get to other neighborhoods. Quick train access to Hyde Park (35min door to seat). Mostly MBA students in building
Feels like a neighborhood even though you are in the heart of the city
The Loop is great because it is so easy to get anywhere in the city! Also, we are next to many cool sights, and River North is very walkable.
Location is central to everything and with majority of students living here, hard to envision living elsewhere during Booth
Great access to stores, restaurants, and excellent transit to get anywhere in Chicago you may want to go to!
Location is good in terms of transit proximity. The loop is not a great area for food/activities but river north is very close and has grocery stores/restaurants, etc.
It’s the loop. It’s full of tourists, but all my friends live here. Trade offs are everywhere. Sooooo close to train (under rated).
