Great quiet place to live
Great quiet place to live, located in the middle of Printers Row. Easy access to all transit lines and busses. Great food options around, and would strongly recommend to those looking for a single apartment.

Printer's Row Reviews

It's a lot livelier than Hyde Park, and you are far more connected to the rest of Chicago. Printer's Row feels a lot safer too, and I do not feel as concerned when I walk around at night. It has great little bars and restaurants, and is close to a Trader Joe's, Jewel, and Target. There is a Mariano's and Whole Foods a few minutes further away.
Printer's Row is near the Loop and train stations and is therefore easily accessible. It's also near Grant Park and the Lake which is great during the summer. There are some decent restaurants and a few bars, but if you're young you'll probably be heading up to River North and further north for a night out. Overall, the neighborhood feels very friendly but has a great location, and new construction in the South Loop will surely make Printer's Row even better.
This area is very safe and friendly. The location is perfect for transit and my apartment is very affordable compared to similar properties.
Although not near campus, UChicago is very easily accessible via the #2 bus (about a 20 minute commute). The area is very safe, relatively quiet, and close to down-town amenities. There are not many restaurants in walking distance, but River North restaurants are within 10 minutes via public transit.
Awesome weekend markets, good restaurants, great wine bar and pizza place, coffee shop, and bookstore on the street.
Downtown but has a beautiful community feel.
Everyone is very friendly and is a great neighborhood for dog lovers/owners. Great local restaurants and very walkable to absolutely everything you could need. Super close to every subway line. Very safe. Nearby college students can get rather loud on the weekends. Parking is expensive if you need to rent a monthly space.
Neighborhood is essentially between the Loop and South Loop. It has lots of restaurants and grocery stores, as well as schools from K-12 in walking distance. Transportation is a breeze as there are plenty of options.
