While I’ve overall had a good experience at the Marq, there have been some serious security issues over the last two years - stolen bikes, cars being broken into, and packages being stolen being the main concerns. The location is great for law school students, but I would hesitate to recommend it to someone unless they’re willing to put up with all that. Also there have been issues with noise (from apartments above and to the sides)

Expensive price (utilities, parking not included) but very convenient location & law student community. Good gym. Not very secure - we get seemingly regular e-mails about items getting stolen from the mailroom and parking garage.

Great parking and location. Easy commute to campus (average drive 8 min.) Amenities are nice though the gym is a little bit lean. Next to Aura 32 and a fast drive to east Austin so there are many other MBA students living nearby.

This apartment complex is pricey but the management and maintenance are friendly, responsive, and transparent with issues/updates.

You're paying a premium price for the location & community: 10-15 minute walk to the law school as well as a free public bus route that picks up/drops off right at the end of the block and right across the road from the law school. Ultra-convenient. And a huge portion of your class will live in the same apartment (or one of the other two neighboring complexes). Maintenance isn't great, my floor's hallway perpetually smells like garbage. Gym has pretty much everything needed even for semi-serious weightlifting.

My apartment is really nice (high ceilings!) and very quiet! The kitchen is especially nice. I really like having a gym. Location is great - less than a 15-minute walk to the law school. Only downside is that it’s expensive, but it’s probably worth it.

The Marq is convenient and the rooms are generally quite nice. However, some rooms have issues with bugs and sometimes the hallways/trash rooms can get pretty dirty. Management isn't very responsive to either of those issues. There are a lot of break ins in the garage.

Marq Uptown is in a great location that is convenient to walk to school. Management is extremely helpful and responsive. Service requests are completed very quickly, sometimes on the same day as submission. The complex is quiet and easy to study in. The amenities are well maintained.
