This apartment is very normal for Chicago; hardwood floors, basement laundry room, sun dependent on your floor, etc.
The management is an older married couple and they are a bit intrusive when it comes to your personal life, and often unavailable when maintenance is needed.
Laundry is $2 per wash and $2 per dry - basically robbing you to do a load of laundry
