Affordable and Accessible to Campus
University graduate housing is relatively affordable for your first year coming in. Your room comes furnished, and you likely will share a fridge and bathroom with one other person. Most houses are within a 15-20 min walk to campus. If you know coming in that can't swing the cost of a single apartment and you don't want the hassle of trying to find roommates to sign a lease with, then this is a good option. You will share the kitchen and living areas with other graduate students in the house. About a 10 minute drive to downtown and 5 minutes to the grocery stores.

Review
I have the largest room in the house but it does have a pest problem and temperature control problem. The back part of my room was added on and the house is older which could be the cause of these issues.

Fun!
Our house is a lot of fun. There have been definite advantages and disadvantages living here. I enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting new people. The kitchen is crowded and always a place of tension. If I was a adamant cooker, I would go with a different residence.
