Uhouse Denver

In a great location a few blocks off campus, Uhouse is home to many students, a fair amount with pets, and a few young professionals. The building has underground gated parking, provides a laundry room and a gym for the community. Management is okay, maintenance is slow but eventually gets done. The apartments themselves vary in size and modernity, but overall are good for the price and have everything you need.

Solid place within walking distance to campus

The location is pretty much unbeatable. Walking distance to campus, DU gym, plenty of restaurants and bars, and not too far from Washington park. Price isn't too bad if you have roommates, and while management can be annoying at times, it's not bad compared to a lot of other corporate landlords. Maintenance requests are usually filled in a timely manner and they almost never charge you for them.

Good living experience

I have enjoyed living here so far. The kitchen is spacious and my apartment has everything I need. Only downside is shared laundry that costs $1.50 per load

Nice Apt Close to Law School

best furnished apartment close to the law school, very good for price, and location is everything. More undergrad focused but still very good for grad students.

Good but poor parking

It is very good, the units are spacious, good bathroom. I really love the maintenance team, they come quickly if there is an issue. The downside is there is always a problem with the parking door. It seems about half the time the door doesn’t actually lock.

University House Denver: I'd live here again!

I have lived at the University House Denver apartment complex for a year and a half. I moved here because I appreciate the location and the fact that everything is included with your rent. I can walk to anything I need, including class and my on-campus job. Regarding rent, I have less to keep track of with bills because everything is included in my rent. Furthermore, I really appreciate having a parking garage so that I do not have to worry about anything happening to my car on the street, nor do I have to worry about cleaning off my car in the winter!

Well Furnished, Big Space

I have enjoyed my apartment experience for the past year and a half. The apartment is fully furnished and comfortable. My room is decent sized and my bathroom is on the large size. The kitchen has good counter and cabinet space.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet! It is 10 minutes from downtown, and a less than 30 minutes from the closest hikes. There are many single-family homes and parks nearby, which makes for a nice place to walk with friends or your dog. It would be nice to have more food options nearby, but it is within delivery range of many places and is a quick drive to food as well!
Colorado Station is less than a mile from the DU campus in a residential area. The residents range from families, to retired folks, some younger people, and a few students. Overall, it's a safe and quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance to the lightrail.
One Observatory Park is right on the border between University and University Park. It is a great location because you get to experience both University and University Park. I think the neighborhoods are nice, clean, and safe.
I haven't had any major issues with the neighborhood. The houses behind the apartment complex are beautiful - it's a great area to walk around. Lots of dogs and kids in the area as well.
Plenty of sidewalks and space. No crime really, park in the neighborhood is nice. Never had any issue with homeless people or cops in the area either.
Right next to campus, high end luxury homes in the area. A few places to walk to such as the Pioneer. Very safe area.
Atelier is located in a quiet, safe, and accessible neighborhood. Behind the apartment complex there are single-family homes that make for pretty and safe places to walk your dog. It is also within walking distance of a few parks. The apartment is in driving distance of several grocery stores (King Soopers, Safeway, Target, Spruce), as well as several restaurants. Atelier is also about a mile from a light rail stop, and is situated near several bus lines, so walkability and public transportation are relatively accessible. Although the neighborhood is not the busiest, it is not far from downtown (around 15 minutes), the mountains (30 minutes), or the airport (35 minutes).
Behind this apartment complex is the observatory park neighborhood which is very lovely. Very safe neighborhood with new families moving in and usual construction on houses that are being built and renovated. Definitely a more wealthy section of Denver, but it has its pros since there’s realistically little crime and disturbances.
