Studio Space

Expensive. Great location. AWFUL management service and staff: incredibly unhelpful staff and often lots of maintenance issues. Water has been turned off multiple times this semester.

Don’t live here!

I had a horrible experience here. My apartment flooded and my stuff was ruined and I received no compensation or even an offer of something. I had people in and out of my room working on the situation (unannounced) for 2 months. Overall this place is just a bad place to live.

Convenient Apartment Building

Most of the residents that live here are still undergrads, so it can get loud late at night any night of the week. The space is nice, but it was not very clean when I moved in. It is in an ideal location because it is a 5 minute walk to campus and a 10 minute walk to the rail station. I some maintenance problems when I moved in, but management took care of it within 48 hours.

Unresponsive Management and Multiple Maintenance Issues

Since I moved in in August, the floors had to be replaced due to poor care by the previous tenant, there has been a fly infestation that lasted for a full week, and there is an overall lack of responsiveness from management. Maintenance checked my heating system while I was not home, and they did not explain to me a fault in the heating system. Because of this, my heat was stuck at over 85 degrees for over two days because the incident occurred on a Friday afternoon, and management refused to explain or address the issue until Monday afternoon. I have to bother management repeatedly over a span of multiple days in order for anything to get done.

Great place to be, very close to the school with lots of great food and drink options near. Also, Observatory Park is very close, great area to run in. Walking distance to the tram station.
Atelier is located in a quiet, safe, and accessible neighborhood. Behind the apartment complex there are single-family homes that make for pretty and safe places to walk your dog. It is also within walking distance of a few parks. The apartment is in driving distance of several grocery stores (King Soopers, Safeway, Target, Spruce), as well as several restaurants. Atelier is also about a mile from a light rail stop, and is situated near several bus lines, so walkability and public transportation are relatively accessible. Although the neighborhood is not the busiest, it is not far from downtown (around 15 minutes), the mountains (30 minutes), or the airport (35 minutes).
Close food and drinks, basically on campus for DU. Near a RTD lightrail spot.
One Observatory Park is right on the border between University and University Park. It is a great location because you get to experience both University and University Park. I think the neighborhoods are nice, clean, and safe.
Right next to school, mainly students living in the area
The neighborhood where the apartment is located feels safe overall. It is located in a nice neighborhood a 15-minute walk from campus, but it has had some bike/car theft. The downside of the location is that it is not close to many restaurants or shops, and the public transport nearby is pretty limited unless you walk over a mile to the light rail.
Generally I like the neighborhood. There's a lot of traffic, but that's just the nature of living by a busy street like University. There's a lot of space to go for a walk or a run in the nearby neighborhoods, people are very friendly, and the neighborhood is generally clean. It would be nice if there were more restaurants in the area, or a yoga studio.
Clean, quiet, safe, and always people out running or walking their dogs.
