Amazing Building

This building is a little out-dated, but the kitchens and bathrooms are all some-what new. Sitting on Delaware Pl, this apartment is in a prime location with shopping and restaurants within walking distance, as well as being about a block from the lake. The only downside is that there is only one elevator, as well as living on the top floor, it gets extremely hot in the summertime

Great location

Live in a great location, with great city life. A block from Michigan Ave, and a block from the John Hancock building provides endless things to do in Chicago. The gym is convenient, and the laundry center is easily accessible. Additionally, there is bike storage in the basement. Only downside, is there is only 1 elevator for 17 floors.

Management Doesn't Care

The location of this building is absolutely perfect - you couldn't ask to be more central in Chicago. However, the management in this building is horrific. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone who works in the building, and they don't care about you unless they can make more money off of you. Rents increase every year you're living there.

Terrible Management

Very bad communication, building is a great location but the value for your dollar is not worth it. Management is terrible. They do not respond to any calls. They do not respond to maintenance requests. They have an extreme lack of professionalism.

Good 1st Apartment

This is a good first apartment for someone looking for a convenient location. Literally a couple blocks from Michigan Ave, and a block from the Hancock Building, this apartment is right in the center of the city. The management staff is really nice, but neighbors are very antisocial

Great Location

This apartment is in the best location, only steps away from Michigan Ave. But the internet provider, Supernova (which is included in rent) sucks. Living on the top floors in the summer time gets really hot, but there is a gym and a roof top which is beautiful.

Streeterville Reviews

91 reviews
Streeterville is a very nice neighborhood. There are plenty of parks and grocery stores. There is some late night crime due to the location downtown and close to the beach, but overall nothing worse than anywhere else.

There are some more expensive restaurants and fast food places. Navy Pier attracts a lot of tourists and they can be annoying to navigate around.
Neighborhood is quite touristy especially with the underpass to the lake right by. Lots of tourists in the summer but that means you're also minutes walk away from the lake, navy pier and michigan ave. Decent amount of food in streeterville and very close to entertainment and food in river north. Walking distance to the loop and millenium park.
Before I moved to my current place, I heard that this neighborhood is a kind of very nice and clean region compare to nearby areas. There are a lot of friendly people and so beautiful with flower decoration in spring. Also, it's very very safe so I don't have to worry about living by myself.
Streeterville is essentially a more remote (and better smelling) River North. Close to Navy Pier, so can be congested in the summer. Right on the river, which is great. Right down the road from Northwestern Medical and law school, so pretty safe neighborhood overall.
Not a lot to do in the neighborhood, which is mostly banks, nail salons, cafes, and Northwestern Memorial hospital, but it is nice and close to the lake, secure and quiet, and there are bars and restaurants if you're willing to walk 20-30 min.
Best neighborhood in Chicago! Clean, safe, close proximity to a lot of dining and entertainment, easy to get around. The only issue is the traffic and crowds on summer weekends - but that's because everyone wants to be here.
Streeterville is located in downtown Chicago. Although it is conveniently located to Northwestern and Michigan Avenue, the general vibe is still very touristy and the restaurant scene isn't the most diverse or unique.
Streeterville is very safe, fairly quiet, and close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. The biggest cons are the lack of grocery stores, the very touristy feel, and the massive crowds on the sidewalks.
