Parkside at Mason Mill reviews and highlights
- ideal for pet-owners
- great deal for the area
- new pool, gym, and club room facility
- prompt and competent maintenance staff
Solid Apt for Students
Great location (5-10 min from Emory depending on traffic), cheap rent for a 2br. Mild pest issues, but it's Georgia. Trails nearby and grocery stores within walking distance.

Townhouse at Parkside at Mason Mill
My roommates (also M1s) and I love living in our townhouse. It is beautiful, spacious, and quiet. We each have our own bathroom, the kitchen is huge and all appliances are updated, we have 2 porches, and a half bath for guests on the main floor. Each townhouse in the neighborhood is independently owned, and we rent from our landlord who lives nearby and is responsive to our needs. The neighborhood backs up to Mason Mill park, and has a brand new clubhouse, fitness center, and pool.

Life at Williamsburg
This apartment complex is probably one of the most affordable in the area. The surrounding area is beautiful and there's a great park and walking trail nearby. It's an ideal area to live if you have pets. However, the neighbors are kind of ridiculous now. There's a lot of dog poop on the ground and a few more bugs than I would prefer.

Transitioning Area, Will Lose A lot of it's Charm
I really liked living in this area due to NORC status (natural occurring retirement community), the proximity to the park/trail, & the tree-lined streets.
However, since it is such a large plot of land with lots of different layouts, the property has been bought and split up. It used to be one of the best deals in the area, with mixed income housing (everything from recently renovated to townhouses).
Further, the previous and new management company is not responsive to requests. Repairs can go unanswered (or unbelieved) for a couple of months. Pest control hasn't come for a few months.

Nice for an older community
This is a great deal for Decatur. The apartments are older (I think built in the 1960s) but well-maintained with a maintenance staff that is very prompt and competent. They have a great new pool/gym/club room facility and they host free parties in there with snacks, wine, etc. for gamedays and other events. There is also a large dog park onsite.
