Convenient location for public transportation and nice enough apartments
We have a lower rate than most because we got a lease locked in prior to the drastic rent increases over the past few years. It's a nice apartment with amenities like a gym and pool but it is poorly managed. This complex is owned by a huge housing company and they don't particularly care about their tenants. We've been without a mailbox for about 6 months. However, there is a trolley stop right at the apartment so that is very convenient! And they are quick about maintenance requests.

Promenade Rio Vista
I've been living here for about 8 months now and have enjoyed my time with the Promenade so far. My only complaints would be that 1. sometimes finding parking is difficult, 2. the Western tow company is very present and active so don't forget to print/update parking passes for guests ($300 fee if towed and no notice given), 3. facilities like the amazon hub is down many times that i've tried to pick up packages, 4. management can be difficult to reach, 5. it is a little pricey, but I do feel like it is a nice, safe apartment so paying more may be worth the peace of mind.

Great Location, Have a Roommate if You Can
I really like my apartment complex. Having a trolley station attached to it has been a godsend since I don't have a car. Unfortunately, it's just so expensive that it's hard to justify. I love this complex, but if at all possible, have people to split rent with.
