DO NOT RENT IN HERE. 
I gave one start to the amazing maintenance team here ONLY. I have been a resident of Village Mission Valley apartments since August. And been dealing with two residents next to me and below me smoking marijuana without consequences from 6:30 AM repeatedly every two hours or so and this would keep occurring until midnight most of the time.
The whole nasty smoke is drifting into my apartment and makes me want to vomit. I am being exposed to secondhand marijuana smoke regularly and has affected my daily life routine. I have difficulty sleeping and have constantly been dealing with migraine attacks. And the sad part is that no one seems to care. Their office manager called me twice and took notes to show that she cares and will get to the bottom of this, but unfortunately, she is not capable of it. Now she is ignoring my emails and does nothing about the issue.
I have reached out to their security too, but seems to waste of time.
Very disappointed in the Irvine Company for having such incapable management that cannot put a STOP to a violation. So if you want a peaceful healthy life, DO NOT RENT in this community.

The amenities and outside look beautiful and nice. Great pool, facilities, and running trail. However, because it is run by a large property management company, it is poorly run and leaves no discretion to be actual humans when making decisions to remedy issues for residents. I will not renew a lease here.

I haven’t had any issues with the leasing office. Maintenance requests are easy to file and completed promptly; the technicians are very polite and nice. There isn’t a leaf out of place here. The complex has a market, three pools, a gym, a clubhouse, a bar, and 2 mile long walking trail. The apartment itself is modern and updated with sturdy appliances and a logical floor plan.
