Good space and convenient

Overall, the building is a good property. Great neighborhood and close to the red line. Building management is responsive to maintenance requests. There is also decent closet space for a studio. Downside is street can be somewhat noisy during the morning and evening hours.

Very good building, nice security

Always someone at the front desk to make sure we're safe. Whenever something breaks or needs to be replaced, the staff is on it quickly. Great neighborhood, and close to grocery stores, places to eat, the lake, and shopping. Safe area and not too far away from school. The only downside is no parking garage included.

Phenomenal Location, Decent Building

I've lived in a studio in this building for 4 years. It's an older building but I think the units have character with built in shelving and hard wood floors.

Pros: location! so close the red line, near great restaurants, Michigan ave, the lake. Rooftop access with great view. Full-time door staff. Good maintenance staff.

Cons: Small bathroom, no temp control, slow elevators that break frequently.

Big Studio, Solid Location

I've lived here for almost 3 years. I LOVE the location. I like being so close to the lake and Michigan Ave. It's also really east to get anywhere in the city on the Red Line or 70 or 22 bus routes.

My unit is big for a studio and given the location, I feel the rent is fair. It has a vintage feel which is my taste and gorgeous in unit shelving. Everyone who comes over comments on how pretty it is with the hardwood floors. There is a small gym in the basement that is enough for a basic workout. I kept my gym membership but if you aren't super into lifting it will work for you.

People tend to keep to themselves in the building but I'm okay with that. The doormen make you feel secure and are friendly. The maintenance team is very prompt with repairs as well.

Old Town is great!

My apartment in old town is definitely the place to be living in chicago. I am about 23 years old and the crowd is a little more older but i enjoy that! The bar scene is fun when you are near pour house, benchmark etc but do not want the college vibes of wrigley. Other than location the apartment is great for entertaining and has homey feel to it!

Great Deal for the Neighborhood

It's one of the cheapest buildings with a 24hr front desk in the Gold Coast/Old Town area. It's only a block to the Clark & Division redline stop & very close to pretty much every amenity possible. The apartments are not very updated (though they did recently upgrade the doors & sprinkler system) but they're fairly charming. The main selling point of this building is the price & location.

Great building for the most part

It's a great building but I wish it were a little more modern or a little less expensive. I feel like I'm paying more for the location than anything else, which I suppose is fair. The views and the location are my favorite aspects. Its a spacious studio.

Terrible Management

Very inconsiderate management company. Made building updates as the building is very old including putting in a sprinkler system in each apartment. Maintenance left my door open twice (i.e. did not pull it shut so anyone could have entered my apartment) and my lights on for an entire weekend. Property manager was very argumentative and barely compensated me for the inconvenience. Building is also very old as are the units. Kitchens are somewhat updated which is nice. Apartment only has one window unit that doesn't cool the unit down very well.
