Excellent

So far everything has been excellent as far as amenities, security, management. Office, maintenance, concierge staff are all very helpful and available.

Rent is so high

Rent increased alot this year and its so high and charge 100$ for parking

Great for pets and quickest commute

It’s a great 5 minute commute and I can have my 2 dogs with me. It’s a little pricey w parking that $100 per car and $50, but it works for my situation.

Unresponsive Management

The quality of the apartment and the amenities at Innova are great; however, I have had issues with both the maintenance and the management that have made me question renewing my lease for next year.

Proximity

You go here for the proximity to school. Rooms and amenities are fine. Gym is pretty basic but fine. Close to transit.

connivence

Innova is more pricy due to its location, but the connivence is unbeatable. If you are an incoming M1 to CRWU SOM, you can live here without a car and be totally okay. Innova also partners with a grocery delivery service (PrestoFresh).

Innova - great for students at the CWRU HEC

Innova is a very nice building located incredibly close to the CWRU Health Education Campus. The property manager and staff are all kind and helpful, and will get you the assistance you need in no time.

LOVE Innova if it's within budget

I absolutely ADORE living at Innova. It truly saves so much mental stress to live right across from the HEC and be able to walk to school in under 3 minutes every day. The apartments themselves are spacious with very nice kitchens and bathrooms, and the roof deck/common areas are excellent. The concierge service is awesome and they handle package pickup, delivery service, dog walking, and so much! The only bad thing I can say about it is the price - it's not cheap, and it's definitely not worth it for everyone. Many residents and fellows live here in addition to med students and it seems like the prices are more tailored to them. If you have it in your budget and value living in a more upscale, modern apartment with many luxury options, it is totally worth it and makes the stress of med school that much easier.

Located very close to the HEC, a moderate walk or quick drive to university circle. Good for graduate students. Not much night life in the area, but not far from Little Italy and downtown. Quiet area best suited well for focusing on academics. Grocery stores and gas stations close.

It is pretty safe around the apartment and close to lots of food. I wouldn't walk alone at night. It is not super close to grocery stores either

It is near an unsafe neighborhood but also really close to the dental school. I haven’t had any problems with the area yet though!

Below average around campus. Not easily walking distance to grocery store. Would benefit from car in that regard. 10 minute walk to some restaurants and CWRU HEC and pharmacy (that I don't recommend sending scripts to). Near Cleveland clinic. If you're looking for the college feel of being able to walk everywhere, Hough isn't really that vibe. Parts of Hough are fine, others are struggling with many abandoned buildings. Edges of neighborhood are being gentrified so it's a weird dynamic of foreclosed homes and mansions on the same block. Doesn't receive as much Cleveland money is it should. For example streets are in rough shape. But has some nice parks and right next to the university circle amenities/parks/museums.

The neighborhood itself doesn't have a lot going on in it. They recently opened a Dave's down the street, so that's made grocery shopping a lot easier.

The surrounding neighborhood is not ideal, but I have never felt unsafe as a resident. If you travel in the right directions, there should not be a problem. I run outside by myself during the day and have always felt perfectly safe. There have been a very small number of incidents outside of the complex at night, but the building is secure and if you avoid walking outside alone at night then it shouldn't be a concern. I would qualify the HEC/Cleveland Clinic campus/University Circle more as my "neighborhood" than Hough itself since that is where I spend most of my time.
