Avoid if you have other choices

Rent is competitive however given the facilities or the lack thereof that kinda explains. It stated that they have shuttle service to/fro campus in the morning and evening but during my time there, it is non-existent. I’m very lucky to be able to move mid-semester. Good luck incoming class!

DO NOT LIVE THERE!!!

They don't assign rooms and wouldn't let me tour the room before I moved in. There are no elevators and I lived in 1/3 of an attic with no windows, just a tiny skylight that opened a crack. I couldn't stand up straight in half of my room. The location is in the middle of a giant hill and I lived on the 5th floor ish, so getting home was hell. The shuttle was down a lot (for the entire month before and during finals season). The fire alarm went off once because apparently some people were living in the basement with no windows (ventilation) and were cooking. Their office was closed the first week I got there (two weeks after classes started) so I had to ask a roommate to let me in. I paid rent and everything before I got there, they threatened me and said I was illegally living there because I hadn't completely the move-in process, even though I couldn't get in touch with them for a week and had to contact the city to reach them.

Works

It’s good for the price, but not particularly nice or anything imo.

Service and apartments is below average

The bedroom in the apartment is very small and things are not fixed for a few months at the back door.

I wouldn’t again

It suffices but the complex is pretty dirty and the management unresponsive. When I first moved in the apartment was filthy + smelled bad; still can’t get the smell out so having guests really isn’t an option. It’s also far away from everything. The price is good but only because Ithaca prices are crazy. Next year I plan on spending the extra $ to get something more centrally located / nicer. I’d recommend doing the same if it’s your first time around. However if you’re on a really tight budget it’s doable, especially since it’s not far enough to require a car. Just get ready to hike some hills
