Do not stay

Please avoid staying in Auden Ithaca , as the apartment offers no recreational facility and the wooden flooring in the apartment is no cheap that we get noise all the time.

Rooms are subpar and connectivity is non-existent

This is probably not a place you would want to consider if you don't plan to buy a car. Highly recommend other places - Downtown / CTT / CollegeTown.

The place is on a hill. It is literally a 15 degree climb (every walk is a treadmill workout)

Rooms are also subpar (some room face a forest and that means no sunlight at all). The highlight a fitness center but it is literally just one treadmill in a 10 sq ft box.

Apartment walls are paper thin. We got complaints from people living downstairs that they could hear us walk and it was disturbing them. No in-unit laundry, depending on which building you have to walk so far just to do laundry.

Not recommended

Good:
+ they renovate the apartments before handing them over, so you will have new and clean apartments.
Not good:
- location is far, down the hill, the shuttle bus is not reliable, there is barely a TCAT bus running by that location
- small gym, laundry room sucks (a lot of machines are out of order)
- thin wall, thin floor

Great for the rent.

I pay about $930 per month in rent ($880 + ~$50 in electricity), and I find this to be well worth it for the amount of space in our 2 bedroom. Gun Hill has a shuttle that runs every 15 mins in the day time and every half hour at night. It is quiet, and our neighbors are all students so they are very respectful of noise making.
