North Austin

North Austin is a family-friendly neighborhood with a peaceful and quiet vibe, yet near tons of things to do and see. Many neighborhoods in North Austin were formed shortly after World War II, with veterans using their GI Bill benefits to attend the University of Texas and settle in the area. To this day, the streets are adorned with charming bungalow-style houses built in the 1940s and 1950s, as well as a few diners and gas stations from that era. Restaurants, bars, and shopping are easily accessible. Some great eateries in the area include Topgolf, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Cafe Java, and P. Terry’s Burger Stand. North Austin is nearby an amazing park called Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. Within the park is a system of biking \ and hiking trails. It also features a public pool and playground.
