Spacious, good location, and large windows

The apartment's are close by to campus, are a good size with all of the amenities that you would need. The building has printing and rooms that can be booked. They also have large windows and a lot of sunlight.

Pretty good spot

Park Evanston is in a great location - a 10-12 minute walk to the Jake and right next door to Whole Foods. Traffic on Chicago Ave can be a little loud, especially with the police/firetrucks that seem to always be driving around Evanston. The building was built in 1997, so it's "modern" but not super new. As such some units have older style white appliances and plain white-Formica cabinets. Management has been ok, but not very accommodating. I plan on renewing my lease.

Nice apartment, walking distance

The location is the best, walking distance to school, downtown and the subway. The apartments are great but the landlord is a little bureaucratic. There is also a nice gym.

The Park Evanston

I love living in the Park Evanston--lots of Kellogg students, conveniently close to Whole Foods, just a few blocks from everything you'd want (gyms, CVS, restaurants, dry cleaners). Mail room and gym in building are a huge plus. Only down side is probably the cost--not the most expensive in Evanston, but not cheap.

Park Evanston

The location of Park Evanston is hard to beat (right next to Whole Foods and close to everything downtown) and is only about a 12 minute walk from campus. The gym, sauna and rooftop pool are great amenities. However, many of the doormen are rude, management can be unresponsive, and the building has its flaws. If we were to pick again we would probably go with Optima Horizons. However, at this point we are sticking with Park Evanston; we have been spoiled by its proximity to everything and our lakeside views.

Great amenities and amazing location

The building is in an amazing location and has doorman, a gym, a party room, conference rooms, dry cleaning, and package pickup services, which are all extremely nice amenities. Overall within the apartments, the kitchen and bathrooms are slightly outdated, but the apartments overall are really nice and spacious.

Great Building in a Perfect Location

You could not ask for a better location in Evanston. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Kellogg's campus, is next to Whole Foods, and is near to all of downtown Evanston. In the winter, this is a huge advantage.

If you get an apartment high up enough to have a view, the campus-facing view is incredible.

The apartments are simple but nice and a good value for the size. The building has a small but well stocked gym, a pool (infrequently filled), and it's own laundry service, co-located with the package pickup.

The staff are very friendly and helpful when asked. The building hosts free events for residents periodically, which are fun.

My few minor issues are: 1) there are no fans in the bathrooms, 2) the A/C controls are useful, but the building can get quite warm in the winter and quite cold in the summer, 3) the fixtures in the kitchen are small.

All in all, I would highly recommend the Park Evanaton.

Downtown Evanston has everything you need. E2 is walkable to campus, a Target, and plenty of restaurants, as well as Metra and L stations to get to Chicago. Right across the street is a Subway, a Thai restaurant, and a pizza place, plus there’s a 7-Eleven about a block away, so you’re very close to options if you need food in a pinch.
Close to downtown Evanston but a bit far from E2/the reserve. One of closest apartments to Trader Joes/Whole Foods/Jewel Osco while also being close to campus. Very close to the lake!
Downtown Evanston has everything you need from a downtown including grocery stores, restaurants, and convenience stores.
Downtown Evanston is great - plenty of great food within walking distance, Metra and El trains right nearby, a really nice place to be. Only downside is it's far from school and the only truly walkable grocery store is a Whole Foods, which can get expensive. Overall, wouldn't want to live elsewhere though.
Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Very easy access to Lake Michigan as well!
There isn't much to do here, but that's true pretty much everywhere in Evanston. We're in walking distance to all of "downtown" Evanston, so restaurants / fast food / subway, etc. It's a slightly longer walk than desired to Kellogg, but that's fine.
The apartment is central to downtown and is walking distance to most bars, restaurants, shops, beach, etc. Evanston is a bit of a sleepy town (especially during the pandemic...I've been told it was much more vibrant pre-pandemic).
I live just south of the main downtown area, and it's the perfect intersection of being close to the action but also a bit removed when you want some quiet. I like being a in a more residential pocket, so there is slightly less foot traffic and really nice areas to walk around with a dog, etc.
