Lovely Property, but Cheap Management

The building is great. The amenities are wonderful; however, they come at a cost. The costs won't break the bank but they are frustrating at times (i.e. paying $5 for each pool visitior). One other note to younger apartment searchers, the residents are mostly on the older side.

Great High Rise - Friendly Staff

I moved from a 3 BR with roommates into a studio because I love this building so much. Everything is attended to quickly and common areas are kept up very well.
Door man and maintenance crew are top notch. Valet shop, garage attendants, laundry, gym, rooftop pool, it really has everything.
There are a lot of elderly people and most of the activities happen during a normal working day which singles out those working professionals but that's OK. And the pool and gym do come with an extra charge but its not bad. Storage units with every unit, bike parking, and valet in the garage for guests. I think it's all worth the higher pricing!

Lincoln Park Reviews

Lincoln Park is the perfect neighborhood for anyone post-graduate and up. Great restaurants, fun bars, and close proximity to other popular Chicago neighborhoods, you really can't go wrong anywhere in the neighborhood. Mostly populated by college kids, young professionals, and new parents, you always feel safe when walking around. Everything important is within walking distance and when the weather is warm, there is nothing better than walking around Lincoln Park Zoo or the Lakefront Trail. Additionally, the red line, purple line, and brown line are all easily accessible. There are also ample bus stops and bike lanes.
Lots of options for dining and nightlife within walking distance. Close to major train stations, and only a few blocks from all stores needed (pharmacy, hardware, grocery, department stores, etc.)
This neighborhood is great if you are mainly into packed sports bars. Other than that, though, it also has a variety of restaurants, many of which are BYOB, and there is a Whole Foods half a block away. You can also join the DePaul gym as a non-student for about $80/month. It's about 2 blocks away and has absolutely everything you would want.
Lincoln Park is a great neighborhood, lots to do and safe for the most part. This building is located between two L stops and on a busy street with a bus that runs frequently. The grocery stores are a bit of a hike, especially when Carrying your bags. Living next to the blues bars is good entertainment on late night, but can draw in a sketch crowd
Love this neighborhood! Definitely the best part of this apartment. Rent is a great price in comparison to the rest of the area. Walking distance to the zoo, parks, the beach, bars, shopping. Not really close to trains, but it's not a problem because there are many convenient bus lines and Uber/Lyft is generally a good price from most places in the city.
Clark and Broadway streets in Lincoln Park/Lakeview have an amazing collection of shops and restaurants of many different cuisines. With the lake just 8 minutes away by foot, abundant transit options, the park, and all the restaurants its hard to imagine ever leaving the neighborhood.
The neighborhood could be more secure to be honest. There have been a few times where I would not want to walk alone at night--and I'm a guy that can fend for himself. I recommend having a car or an escort instead of walking alone at night. But overall its really not bad.
Great place and great location! The apartment is right by a lot of bars and restaurants including starbucks. It is also nearby the Fullerton stop and various bus stops making commuting very convenient. There is always tons of parking on the street as well.
