Love it here!

Review for my daughter's apartment
We’ve been so pleased with my daughter’s experience at The Haven at Wake. From the moment she moved in, it’s been clear that this is a safe, clean, and welcoming place for students and young adults! The apartments are brand new with beautiful, modern finishes, making them comfortable, stylish, and perfect for student living. The staff is friendly, professional, and always quick to help whenever something is needed. The location is incredibly convenient to campus, shopping, and food. As a parent, it gives me real peace of mind knowing she’s in such a great environment. We’re very thankful for this community and highly recommend it to other students and families.”

We love the Haven
As a parent of a Wake Forest student, I’ve been very pleased with my daughter’s experience at The Haven at Wake. The office staff is great to work with — informative, down to earth, and responsive, which I really appreciate as a parent. Maintenance requests are usually handled the same day, unless a part needs to be ordered.
This is student housing, so some noise is expected, but it’s typical apartment living and hasn’t been an issue. Parking has never been a problem, and not having to pay extra to park is a big plus.
My daughter's dog Finley is truly welcome there, and the dog park is a nice size, though adding agility equipment in the future would be a great improvement. The location is very convenient — close to everything. Campus is an easy shuttle ride away, and my daughter also rides her bike to campus (about a mile) and has always felt safe, even in the evenings.
Packages occasionally go missing due to delivery issues, but management has shared plans for package lockers, which will be a huge help. Overall, The Haven at Wake has been a well-managed, pet-friendly, and safe choice for our daughter, and we would recommend it to other parents.

The most amazing apartment living experience
Living at The Haven has truly been an incredible experience. It’s a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where I feel completely comfortable, and I’ve made so many great friends. Our apartment manager, Angie, has been a wonderful support—always willing to help with anything I need and answering every question with patience and kindness.
I also have a cat who lives with me, and she absolutely loves her window view overlooking the clubhouse and beautiful pool.
Overall, I’m genuinely grateful to call this place home

Convenient Location
The Haven is just a 4 minute drive from campus, and about a 7-10 minute drive to other popular student properties depending on traffic. Everything is included in your rent, the leasing office has a gym and a pool, and the property manager is very responsive to issues whenever they come up. The apartments are new and pretty nice. The main drawback is that it is somewhat outside of the average law student's price range unless you get a 3 or 4 bedroom unit.

Bad neighbors/first floor room is tiny
I leased a room in a townhouse. Originally, I was supposed to be in a second floor room. There was an issue at the leasing office, so they let me know that I would be in the first floor instead. Fine. When I moved in I realized that the first floor room is half the size of the upper floor rooms, yet I have to pay the same amount of rent.
I got my bike out of storage and tested it. Then I left it on the back porch (locked) and within two hours it was stolen by a kid that lives in the neighborhood behind the apartment.
Someone walked around the block and spray painted/graffitied the block. So there is red spray pain on the sidewalks and driveway now. Which just kind of sucks.
The pool is really nice tho. And the shuttle to campus goes direct (I used to live at crown polo and the bus from there made like two other stops).

Definitely a top spot for Wake students
I've looked at a lot of housing in town and honestly nothing really checks all my box's that The Haven does. In terms of student housing, it is hard to find a complex that has everything you need. Not only does the community include furniture and all utilities, they are also one of the only complex's to include a clubhouse with a gym and pool. The community is properly maintained and front office is easy to work with. The Haven has made my time off campus the best it could be. The name truly says it all!

Great Place to Live
I love living at The Haven at Wake! The management team is really nice and responsive, which makes living here really enjoyable. The community is also brand new, so everything is really updated and modern. I'm so excited to use the pool this summer too!
