Nice but a bit too expensive for what it is

pros:
-location (close to downtown, parks, not too far from Ross)
-apartments are quiet (you don't hear your neighbors)
-stuff in the building gets fixed quickly if it breaks
-pool is nice in the summer and has fire pits/bbqs
-gym is nice
-packages are delivered to your door
-pet friendly

cons:
-crazy expensive
-parking is $200/month
-the process of securing an apartment is very strange and somewhat stressful
-apartments are generally pretty small

Great place for an MBA sudent!

I like that my home is not a concern while a busy b-school student. It was important to me to have a responsive management company, an in-unit washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and my cat and to live alone but near a lot of other b-school students. I wish it were even closer to Ross, but I'm grateful for the 12-15 min walk to/from because sometimes it's the only exercise I have time for! Something I didn't realize I'd appreciate as much as I do is the free coffee in the lobby; it's a gamechanger when you have 8am classes. Obviously, 618 S Main is more expensive than splitting a house on Hill St, but I feel like I'm paying to get so much time back for classes/recruiting.

Great building, walking distance from school

I chose this apartment primarily for its location. It is a 10-minute walk from the law quad. The management has been very responsive to concerns, and the apartment and building are generally great!

Great Location with Tons of Amenities

It is pricier on rent, but it's worth it to live in such a nice place. The location is great for the law school (15 minute walk) and you're right down Main St. from all of the restaurants and such. There is a gym, business center, fire pit area, and a pool as well as a community room with a free coffee machine. Newer building so all of the design and appliances are very modern. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Escape the undergrads and live happily with your pets!

618 may be pricey, but it has been worth every penny, especially since we've had to be inside more during COVID. The Management is great, the amenities are unparalleled, and it's a building for grownups rather than a dorm (cough cough, Yard).

Great Location and Amenities

Very safe building, full of MBAs. It is also close to the Yard and Hill Street, where many other MBAs live. Only issue with the building is the cell reception is not great.

Way better than Foundry Lofts

Last year we lived in Foundry, which was more expensive for less space. That place was poorly run and filled with undergrads. We moved to 618 S Main since some friends lived in the building. It's predominantly grad students, professionally run, and not at all stressful to live in. And it has the best dogs in town. Plus, we have a view of the Big House.
