Great apartment in the heart of the Booth community
If you want to be right at the center of the Booth community, MPP is the apartment for you! You'll be steps from your classmates, and often won't even need to leave the building. Commute via train or Uber is very easy. However, the apartments are a bit more dated, and working with management can be challenging. Gym is also not great.

Great for Booth
Would not live here otherwise, but MPP really a great building while at Booth. Most of the class is here which makes meetings/pregames/studying easier, located right across from the train to campus, and relatively cheap for the loop.

Great experience thus far
Large apartment for a good price, get everything I need from it, in a building with a lot of other students

Good Value
Lots of living space. Apartment on the 12th floor facing Michigan avenue, so a little loud - I've gotten used to sleeping with earplugs. Personally, management has been very responsive to my needs and concerns. Was cheapest apartment building for the space in the area (which is very expensive), so works well for me. Nice having most of my school friends in one building.

Excellent
Pros:
Excellent location - super, super close to the metra and other attractions
Big space - spatial apartment definitely enough for a couple and two pets
Proximity to fellow students - more than half of Boothies live here - not only is it convenient for group work, but super convenient for carpooling in the winter
Staff - Staff super responsive to requests
Cons:
Can have thicker walls - can hear neighbor partying at 2 AM; however staff super responsive to help stop the noise
Can have better lighting

This place is old and falling apart
I don’t feel safe living in this building anymore. The building is clearly very old and it is not well maintained. The walls are paper thin and the insulation is terrible (my apartment does not get above 65 in the winter). There are layers and layers of dirt and dust and weird smells everywhere.
The gym is not impressive - no free weights and machines are constantly breaking. Also no internet or cell service in the gym.
Oh, and the elevators are constantly breaking, which management shows a dangerous disregard for.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
