Great apartment

Excellent apartment, very spacious, great staff, close to campus, cheap price. Amenities are ok- cute garden rooftop but minimal gym. It is close to the underpass for lakefront running and walkable to FFC so this doesn't bother me

Very spacious and building well-managed

My roommate and I have enjoyed living in the Chatelaine. The apartment is very spacious and we appreciate that there's only 4 units per floor. The management is responsive to any issues, and we haven't really had any. While definitely not cheap, the rent is slightly more affordable than other apartments of this size in Streeterville. It is very close to school.

Great spot!

I love my little apartment at Grace! The unit is updated with a beautiful kitchen and has more storage than I need. The price for the location is great, there's nothing not to like! The management and maintenance have always been friendly and quick to reply. I've been here a couple of years and the whole process has been very easy for me since the beginning.

Very Happy

Our apartment is beautiful and has some vintage Chicago charm right downtown. The street is quiet, but we can easily walk to some of the best shopping and restaurants in the city. We've had a few maintenance needs over the years, but the staff is always quick to remedy any issues. We've had a great experience and highly recommend the building to anyone looking!

Safe and affordable

The Chatelaine is a vintage building in the Streeterville/Gold Coast area just steps away from Michigan Ave and the lake. Apartments are fairly spacious and have been updated with granite countertops and redone bathrooms. Good bang for your buck, especially in terms of the area.
One complaint would be that the walls are fairly thin and one can sometimes hear neighbors dogs, conversations etc.

Perfect location for Feinberg, almost feels like a small slice of a college town because so many of your neighbors will be students, residents, nurses, etc at the hospital. You do get sirens fairly often depending on where you live since the emergency room is very close. The neighborhood doesn't have too many restaurants/bars but it is walking distance to River North and Gold Coast and the rest of the city is easily accessed by public transport. Much safer than most neighborhoods in Chicago.

Love how close we are to the medical school, makes going to class really easy. A lot of students live in Streeterville so it is very easy to hangout with friends. There are also a few coffee shops in the neighborhood that are very fun to study at!

Very safe in comparison to the rest of Chicago. Great restaurant and bar scene with proximity to touristy spots, the lake, Mag Mile, and Red Line stations. However, apartments in Streeterville are often on the more expensive side.

Nice and clean and generally feel safe here. Walking distance from Lakeshore park and lake. Not as many restaurants and things to do here unlike some other neighborhoods.

It's so convenient to be close to campus for classes. The trees and parks are also nice as compared to River North.
