City Centre

We have had a very pleasant experience living at City Center. The amenities are beautiful and it is the newest apartment complex in Ithaca.

Good building to live in

High end, but pricy!

Overally it's a nice apartment building with good common areas and a gym. The building itself is cheaply built, we can hear what happens outside (people talking loudly, trucks, etc).

Great location in the commons and never had issues with management. Staff is quick to address emergencies and maintenance problems. Very high tech system. You use the Latch app to enter the building and enter your own apartment. Walls are pretty thick and facilities are new. Staff cleans floors and vacuums few times a day so I never had issue with cleanliness. Windows are floor to ceiling so you get a lot of sunlight. Rooftop provides great venue for afternoon hangouts during the spring/fall season.

Fantastic place to live in as long as you recognize the price.

City Centre is a fantastic place to live. It is super pet friendly and right in the middle of everything. The staff is always courteous and food, bars, and bus stops are easy walking distance. It has become a place to party, but at the same time it all closes down at a reasonable time so everyone can sleep and you won’t be kept up if you don’t want to participate.

The apartment complex opened in June of 2019 and has gone through a number of growing pains. The place says its a luxury apartment but sometimes does not live up to that billing. That being said, it's seemingly a better deal and of higher quality than most alternatives in Ithaca.

City Centre is fine. It has tons of amenities and it's very centrally located, however, it suffers from mismanagement. On various occasions we had different issues with the water temperature, lights not working, and other, and while these were addressed, they weren't addressed promptly nor did we get any compensation for the trouble (e.g. no rent credit for the 3 days we spent without electricity).

Having lived in other luxury apartment buildings in the rest of the country, this place does not live up to those standards.
