Crowne Oaks reviews and highlights
- great place to live
- affordable for the convenient location
- newly updated gym, pool, and office space
- safe atmosphere and quiet
- plenty of parking available
- responsive management and maintenance staff
Very spacious room and great staff.
Most importantly, the staff at Crowne Oaks is the best I have ever seen at an apartment complex. I have submitted two work orders and both have been completed within 24 hours. In addition, the rooms are large and the kitchens have all of the essentials. I would recommend renting an apartment that includes a washer and dryer, because if issues arise they apartment is responsible. However, this does increase rent. Also, a Wake Forest bus picks up from this complex in the morning, as it is 1.5 miles away from campus.

While the complex is outdated the management is friendly and the rent is priced well.

If you are looking for a place with many law students
Crowne Oaks is a great option for an apartment close to the law school. Crowne Oaks also has many law school peers!

Convenient to Campus
Crowne Oaks is very quiet, and the shuttle to campus (though at times inconsistent) is great. Maintenance is very responsive as is management. Appliances are a bit dated, but this definitely is the max amount of space I could've gotte nfor as much as I'm paying. Not walkable anywhere, but convenient to local groceries and campus.

Nice! But could be better
Overall,
This is a super spacious place to live right next to campus! My apartment has a lot of room, but we do have occasional bug problems.
Additionally, I was shocked by how many non-students live there. I'm surrounded by older couples in their 60s-70s, which can make it awkward to be coming and going to campus at all hours of the day and having friends over in the evenings. The older people make several comments about the students being loud neighbors, but I was under the impression Crowne was built for students?

Crowne Oaks
Crowne oaks is a great place to live. Great location close to the school, shuttle service stops here, nice pool. The apartment itself is very nice and big as well. I wish there was a bigger gym though. I have also found bugs a few times but it’s not a rampant issue.
