Winston Factory Lofts

I love living at Winston Factory Lofts! We have all the amenities you could ever need (a pool, gym, movie theater, rec room) even if they aren't the most glamorous I've ever seen. The management is great, they host tons of events for residents and keep us updated weekly with what is going on around town. Maintenance also handles requests very quickly. My roommate and I have tons of space in our apartment. Our rooms don't have windows, but light does enter our room from the large living room windows so we don't mind. We also had issues with drain gnats, but maintenance resolved this issue every time I put in the request quickly.

Factory Lofts are great in terms of location and amenities. The units are refurbished from an old Hanes factory, and there are high ceilings and lots of natural light.

Great location in downtown. Very tall ceilings and large windows allow for a lot of natural light.

I have loved living at Winston Factory Lofts. My apartment is beautiful with massive two-story windows and a cool industrial interior. The apartment staff is always helpful and quick to respond to questions. The location of the apartment is in downtown Winston-Salem, which is great. It is a very short walk to Bailey Park, the Long Branch Trail, and many restaurants and breweries around the downtown area.

This apartment is amazing for students. It is in a fantastic location downtown, with quick and easy walks to almost any restaurant or bar you'd want to go to. It is also priced very well for students. The only thing not included in the rent is electricity and parking, all other amenities are included. The management is also super responsive to questions or maintenance issues. The apartment often has Food Truck Fridays and fun events throughout the year aligning with holidays or just for fun. Everyone living in the apartment is also incredibly nice.

I really like my apartment.

I loved the building, the windows, and the staff. However, there were a number of miscommunications on the administrative staff's part that resulted in some small conflicts over time. If you are a young professional, I recommend this building. Other residents were very pleasant, but don't expect people who live here to act like people who have lived in apartment buildings in very large cities.

Spacious and comfortable lofts perfectly situated in downtown. Great gyms, fast internet, but parking is very expensive.

I've lived in both WFL buildings at times over the past 3 years. Both buildings have great 1 bedroom, 1 bath options and the management staff/maintenance team are fantastic. The downtown area has developed significantly over the past few years, with several bars, restaurants, coffeshops, a trail, and a park all within walking distance of WFL.

One drawback is the proximity to train tracks - trains come through 2-3 times per day.

Great apartment with character, close to everything fun downtown!
