Love it!
Great location filled with lots of other Boothies! The only downside is no in-unit washer. Coming from NYC, it's definitely one of the best apartments I've lived in and the management is super nice and responsive. It's an older building but I haven't had any issues with anything not working. Anytime I've submitted a maintenance request it's been solved same day.
Everyone who works in the building is also really nice - one time we set the fire alarm off and maintenance came up to make sure we were ok. There's a package room with attendants so I'm never worried about packages getting lost or stolen.
My apartment has a south facing living room which means it does get pretty warm but the AC works well.

Bang for your buck
MPP is great for potential Booth students because it is the closest apartment to the train, you have the most space for the least price, the building is pretty safe with 24/7 doormen, there's a gym and pool, and most importantly, most Booth students live here so it's very easy to build community and interact with others. On the flip side, it is an older building and while we have enough amenities, other luxury buildings in the Loop, have more.

MPP is a great place to live for someone new to Chicago
MPP offers fantastic value for the price. The spacious floor plans are a standout, and amenities like the gym and the presence of a doorman add to the convenience. We moved from Washington, DC, and have found that our dollar stretches much further here. While the gym is basic, it gets the job done, and the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another highlight is the strong sense of community, especially since many Booth students live in the building, making socializing easy and enjoyable. We also love that we can see the Bean from our apartment, which is a unique and beautiful perk. One drawback is the lack of in-unit washers and dryers, but this is offset by the fact that most utilities are included in the already reasonable rent.

Good apartment on a student budget
Go ahead with MPP blindly if you're a boothie and are not too picky about in house laundry.

Convenient Location & Good Value
The location of MPP is very centralized, which gives you access to various restaurants and attractions in The Loop. It's a short walk to Lakeshore trail, which is a great path to run, bike, or walk when the weather is nice. It's an even shorter walk to Millennium Park, which hosts the famous "Bean" and other fun events. Additionally, its proximity to CTA and Metra stations make it convenient to get out of The Loop when needed.

Good
It’s worth the money. Yes it’s not as nice as the other places you live in, but it’s affordable and you feel like you’re living around your college friends. I really like that aspect of living in MPP

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
