Maplewood
We have a bright and sunny apartment in the corner of a large building. It’s quiet and the complex is well kept. The location is convenient to campus, but further from downtown and other local businesses which can be a downside. It’s very helpful to have a car though some people manage without one. The furniture is a bit “elevated dorm” style, but definitely better and newer than what you’d get in CTT. Overall you can’t beat the price for what you get — newish well-managed apartment, all utilities included, decent location.

Maplewood
Management is a bit strict and doesn't really care about the tenants as there are a lot of arbitrary rules. This includes not letting you move in until after pre-term starts, which is a huge pain. Also, the apartments aren't as clean as they used to be and maplewood management is really obnoxious when you have complaints. I would have preferred to live in coal yard, as I love the location.

Great bang for your buck
Maplewood is the perfect mix of price and quality for two years of ease. There's a gym available on the property, it's an easy and quick walk to both Sage & Breazzano, and it's relatively inexpensive in terms of other options on campus. It's the perfect middle ground. It can be slightly inconvenient for going downtown, but there are a ton of MBAs who live in Maplewood, so there's a fairly strong community environment regardless.

Excellent apartment, but a little isolated
The Maplewood apartments are excellent value for the price and a short ~15 minute walk from Sage Hall. However, for weekend events, it is a little isolated from downtown.

Maplewood Review
It comes furnished with essentials so that helps as you get settled in to Ithaca, and the rent is very reasonable for what you get. That said, a few things of note (these could be purely personal to me):
- If you have a pet, finding arrangements for pet sitters will be nearly impossible because the property only lets the owner have a key fob. The management company recommends that pet owners have their pets stay at a friend's apartment, or have them boarded while you're away. That may be feasible for a dog, but its pretty much impossible to manage with a cat. Something to be very mindful of.
- My shower drain has clogged consistently from some strange lint/hair since the week I got here. I have really short hair so there is no way its coming from me.
- The coffee machine in the common area is consistently out of order.

Good place for social
I like this 3B3B TH because it provides a moderate sharing kitchen and living space, and all the utilities are included in the rent. The bedroom space is not so satisfying, especially for someone with a little bit more belongings.
The distance to campus is moderate, 15 minutes walk to Breazzano and Sage Hall. There is also a shopping center where you can get grocery and food within 10-15 minutes walking distance.
Only 1/2 bus routes will be here, not too friendly for someone who doesn't drive.
