Lakeshore Ridge

nothing special, a good place to lay your head.

Lakeshore ridge is a reasonably price place to live but at our complex we have lots of cars break ins, and someone was murdered on property a month ago since typing this. It is a pet friendly place but they do charge alot for deposits and a monthly pet fee thats usually about 10 dollars per pet per month. They do have newer updated apartments but those cost somewhere around 500-1,000 more than the "outdated" rooms, keep in mind the outdated rooms also don't come with light fixtures unless you get them and install yourself or if they previous tenants left them.

Although there are some issues with this apartment, I would choose to live here again. There is one person in particular within management that is not entirely pleasant to deal with but what can you do. Additionally, when comparing this apartment to others, it was cheaper and was noticeably more spacious. It is also conveniently located as there is a Publix 5 minutes away and Walmart and a solid selection of restaurants less than 10 minutes away as well.

It’s safe and good environment

I have enjoyed living at Lakeshore Ridge and have had minimal issues. It’s a bit expensive in my opinion, but so is everything else in the area. When I first moved in, there were several car thefts, but I personally have had no issues with that and feel safe living here.

The apartment complex is perfect, the only thing they need to improve is the communication between administration and renter.

I've lived here for about four years now, and the apartments themselves are great. The living room/kitchens are very spacious, and the rooms are also pretty good. There are windows in each room and balconies for almost every unit here. Some even have storage rooms. Maintenance always has your work order complete within 2 business days from what I've seen. The staff is very difficult to communicate with (everyone who works here will tell you something different when you ask). Getting a lease is hard when you transfer apartments, but first time move-ins are easy. The commute to Samford can be anywhere from 10-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

I moved there 2 months ago and overall it has been a good experience even tho we had a couple of bumps before getting the apartment approved.

The apartments are relatively clean and orderly. I do not know that I would call them a great value considering the rent price, but they are not a bad option. They are relatively close to Samford which is nice.
