Convenience, Poor Management
E2 is a good building with nice amenities. The advantage is primarily the proximity to such a large percentage of Kellogg students. It is managed incredibly poorly and as a result there have been some unnecessary headaches. For a luxury building with such a high price tag, the management/concierge is unwilling to do anything above the bare minimum to support accepting large packages/groceries, issues with utilities, buzzing in guests, etc. which makes the higher rent hard to justify.

Very happy in E2
Living in a studio in E2 is great because I have my own space but am still surrounded by Kellogg students. Having a doorman makes package delivery very easy. The gym and pool are fantastic. The only downside is that you need to go downstairs to pick up any guests you have because you need a key to get into lobby and to use the elevators.

Very social!
Would recommend, very social, lots of people live here. Basketball court is a plus and pool is a place to be during summer

Pros and Cons
e2 is beautiful and the amenities are great. That said, apartments are poorly designed and management is unreliable.

Great place to live with dumb management
The internet is a problem because it's controlled by AccessMedia3. They only want to use cheap equipment on the wifi access points that they provide you with so there is problems with overlapped wireless signals using the same frequencies.
The elevators are a problem because each tower only has 2 elevators, one which can often times be used as service elevator and not operational. That means typically that the tower only has one working elevator many times.
Other than that, the place is nice and comfortable and everything you would expect from a 'luxury' building.
Management is not very transparent about when there are problems though and very slow to get leases to you.

Expensive but worth the price
Pay a lot but the building is nice and SOOO many Kellogg people live here which is nice for making socializing easy and sharing ubers anywhere. Living in the west side of the building is annoying because there's no doorman to let up friends/food delivery and having packages delivered is a huge pain (always unclear which address to use, I've lost packages because of it)

Looks nice but everything is low quality including the management
E2 is one of those buildings that was constructed to look really nice but was made using the cheapest materials. None of the design layouts make sense (for example, there is a random pillar in the middle of one of our bedrooms that takes away a lot of useable square footage).
Management starting in 2017 is horrendous. They try to micromanage everything and have been making up rules as they go, even citing non-existent clauses in the lease.
It used to be the hub for Kellogg students but since Kellogg moved further away to the Global Hub, that value prop has declined significantly.
Overall, it is not worth the cost whatsoever.

Kellogg Home
I have had a great experience with E2. There are tons of Kellogg students in the building, nice amenities including a gym, and new construction. The units are on the smaller end and more expensive but it is nice to come home to a great apartment. The building is very safe and has great views.

A Good Kellogg Building
E2 has a good central location and a lot of other Kellogg students around. We have had some minor issues with the management of the building, mostly around noise and use of the common areas, but for the most part it's been a good experience.

Think about if it's worth it to you
E2 is a solid option for Kellogg students; would definitely not recommend it to other Evanston community members, as it is extremely social. Downsides: the rent is overpriced and management is very unresponsive and many times frustratingly incompetent. This was especially frustrating during the application and move-in process. It took forever to finalize my lease and communication about move-in was very unclear. Upsides: fun building with tons of Kellogg students and great amenities.

Cons: Long walk from the Global hub. Closest grocery store is Whole Foods, a bit of a hike to TJ's and Jewel.
