Overpriced, but convenient
Overpriced but worth it to me to be close to campus and in a building with a lot of other students.

E2
New building but horrible management. Always trying to nickel and dime tenants despite some of the highest rates in Evanston.

Great...but expensive
E2 is nice. The units are new and clean, the amenities are great, the apartments have good storage and wonderful temperature control. That said, it's one of the most expensive buildings in the area. It's a safe bet for people who want a consistent experience, but in terms of value there are better options.

High end look and feel built at a budget price
The building is nice and looks new, modern and clean but it's clear that many things about the layout and such don't make sense and also that all the appliances, although they look good are actually pretty cheap and not the best in terms of functionality. Still great to live in, especially if you want something new and modern!

New building, mediocre management
The staff are friendly, but the actual property managers leave a lot to be desired. Gym is very small. Pool is closed during majority of academic semester.

Growing pains
Elevator regularly broke in our first year (first set of occupants). Improved now.
Internet provider (AM3) frequently had outages. Slow response from them.
Otherwise good. Most things work besides the above work, maintenance is prompt and helpful. Expensive though.

Best building in Evanston
The apartment is new, beautifully designed and everything works well. The social areas are great for a party or to watch a game. The pool is very nice.
It's location is ideal as it's closer to the new business school building than most other buildings

Management Terrible / Outdoor amenities are closed early
Management has been shaken up a few times now because they haven't been able to control the influx of complaints residents have had. Also, amenities like pool/bbqs/hottub close in early Fall before it gets cold out and opens in April so you only use them for a few months out of the school year.

Studio / 1 bath
Spacious, luxurious and great view
In general, E2 is extremely modern as it just has been built. All the initial property issues have been dealt with throughout the first year of its existence. View depends on floor and which side apartment is facing. Personally for me this was an important element to overcome grim winter months.

Ikea Living
It's like living in an Ikea apartment. Management is horrible, frequent maintenance issues with the building.
