E2 Apartments reviews and highlights
- social gatherings on the deck
- loud in the summer
- great view of lake michigan
- gym is small
- brand new building with lots of kellogg students
- incredibly safe, secure building
- free workout classes
- best amenities in Evanston
- parking is expensive
- elevators are constantly breaking down
- rent is a bit high
Expensive, but nice to be near most of Kellogg
Good to be near many other Kellogg students, particularly in the winter. Building is expensive and has been riddled with elevator (still frequent) issues and internet (not frequent lately) issues.

Ikea Living
It's like living in an Ikea apartment. Management is horrible, frequent maintenance issues with the building.

Excellent building, but super expensive
The building and unit themselves are great - no complaints here. Not as close to campus or downtown Evanston as other buildings, which at times can be a hassle (especially for food options or groceries). E2 will be even further once we move to the new building.
My biggest gripe is with the rent - I was holding out for a studio but ran out of time and had to go for a 1 bedroom. Upon hearing what students paid the previous year I felt like I got gouged. It sounds like they offered discounted rent rates last year to fill the building with Kellogg students, making it more desirable. This year, they jacked up rents SIGNIFICANTLY, and now it's very expensive compared to other housing options.

Great...but expensive
E2 is nice. The units are new and clean, the amenities are great, the apartments have good storage and wonderful temperature control. That said, it's one of the most expensive buildings in the area. It's a safe bet for people who want a consistent experience, but in terms of value there are better options.

Nice complex, mediocre management
Internet and elevators often go out. Management staff tries to be accommodating, but there are still many issues in the building and they are not always the most responsive. Maintenance team is excellent for small issues in the apartments. Rent is incredibly high for a Chicago suburb.

Good amenities w/ poor management
The amenities are great during the summer. The rooftop was used weekly by my friends, neighbors, and roommates. However, the management here has made it a frustrating experience. First our blinds broke, allowing everyone walking by to peer into our first floor street facing apt. This took months to repair. Next the electronic locks broke so that every time we came home we had spend time walking to the front desk to get a temporary key. It took 7 times of this happening for management to realize there was an issue. Next, my bike was taken from the indoor bike storage room and management didn't help me to find it even though the room has security cameras. I would not choose to live here again.

Overpriced, but convenient
Overpriced but worth it to me to be close to campus and in a building with a lot of other students.

E2 funky management, convenient because lots of Kellogg students in building
The management is pretty terrible. Packages are a nightmare to deal with here. Internet is spotty and the elevators often are down. Honestly, picked this apartment because its where most Kellogg students live but now will be located further from the Global Hub (17 min walk vs 10 min walk to Jake)... Don't think I'd recommend to future Kellogg students.

Downtown Evanston Reviews
Cons: Long walk from the Global hub. Closest grocery store is Whole Foods, a bit of a hike to TJ's and Jewel.
