MPP is fine
MPP is just fine to live for two years as an unemployed grad student. It's not perfect (slow elevators, lacks modern amenities, no central a/c), but I think the price reflects all of that. It's also great from a social and convenience factor to live near your classmates.

Good for the community, fine apartments
Not the fanciest but everyone lives here

It’s ok
The apartment is fine, but nothing special for the price. Management are passive aggressive and maintenance is shoddy (elevators on the fritz, falling ceiling tiles...)

The Unofficial Booth Dorm
I enjoy living at MPP because it is the most popular housing option for Boothies. I appreciate the community feeling, and the building is sufficient for my living needs.

Fine for business school
The pros: Great location, decent-looking apartments, and the maintenance staff is very good/timely in addressing issues. Gym floor with pool, free yoga classes.
The cons: The elevators are a serious issue (they break down too frequently, and are generally slow), carpeted bedrooms. The laundry facilities are not great. Very noisy from street drummers.

Does the job
The apartment is good and quite big. The building is not as nice as others

Great apartment in the heart of the Booth community
If you want to be right at the center of the Booth community, MPP is the apartment for you! You'll be steps from your classmates, and often won't even need to leave the building. Commute via train or Uber is very easy. However, the apartments are a bit more dated, and working with management can be challenging. Gym is also not great.

Great for Booth
Would not live here otherwise, but MPP really a great building while at Booth. Most of the class is here which makes meetings/pregames/studying easier, located right across from the train to campus, and relatively cheap for the loop.

Great experience thus far
Large apartment for a good price, get everything I need from it, in a building with a lot of other students

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
