Great Place
The price to sq-footage ratio is incredibly reasonable in that I get 670 sq feet for only $1825. I'm facing Michigan Ave, which can be noisy with car horns, parades, or street music most days, but it's not unbearable or constant. The sunlight is decent, but nothing amazing. The location is pretty generic and touristy and most restaurants close around 9 or 10pm, but the distance to the Metra and the L makes getting around the city convenient.

MPP review
Great value for the amount of space you get. Amenities (like laundry and gym) aren't great, but they get the job done most of the time. Being near all the Booth classmates and the train station are huge pluses.

Millenium Park Plaza Review

good enough
honestly, would never live at MPP if i weren't a student, but it's good enough during business school. there's high social value given that most people in the program live here and it's easy to go from room to room. but it's obviously not the greatest with amenities and the gym etc

Love it
Love MPP! People exaggerate how bad it is. Not super great for dogs given Millennium Park doesn’t allow dogs but otherwise we love living here. I thought I would hate not having in-unit laundry but it really hasn’t impacted me in the slightest, and I actually like that I can do all my laundry at the same time since I can use multiple washers/dryers.

Pretty Good
Discrepancies between apartments and lots of noise, but overall good maintenance staff!

Location & community
Though I would not live in the Loop if I were working, MPP is the ideal location for a Booth student. It's across the street from the Metra station (which we take to go to campus) and many students live here which makes for a strong community. It's also nice not having to put shoes on to go for movie nights at a friend's place, especially in the winter. Though there is a fair share of pre-games / parties happening around, it is very much an "opt-in" culture, and if you want to do your own thing that's your choice. The building itself is on the older side but everything works in my unit and the maintenance team is very responsive. If at all possible, it is nice to visit the unit you're looking to rent beforehand as some are newly renovated. If you're very sensitive to street noises, units facing East are highly recommended - those facing West (Michigan Ave) are mostly fine if you're higher than floor 20 as the windows muffle most sounds, but city noises are unavoidable, though I have now tuned it out and gotten used to it. The gym is pretty standard - it is currently being renovated and should be finalized by end of 2022. There is an indoor pool but I have never used it.

Good for students
If you don't plan on staying in your room for most hours, MPP is a bang-for-buck and a great option. Downside is if you live by Michigan Ave, there is bound to be some kind of event/ruckus happening on weekends so can get quite noisy.

Spacious and convenient. Unofficial booth dorm. Apartments are a bit old and Management is very slow to do repairs

Booth life
It is great to live there while at Booth. Lots of pregames and activities and very easy to visit your friends.
Building does not have in unit washer/dryer, and staff is not always the best.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
