Title?
Very convenient for when starting grad school and becoming custom to San Diego. No stress about annoying landlords or absurd amount of increasing rent--they increase it by 3% every year but that is the cap. OMS does give dorm vibe but it's nice. No AC but thats pretty standard for SoCal apartments.

OMS
It is very convenient for campus and I save money on gas. Cheaper than apartments around but not by much.

OMS
Apartment is older built and older style but a great space when you make it your own. Close to campus tons of amenities help to justify the super high cost.

Good grad housing for international students
It is a nice choice if you are an international student of UCSD.

Great place but can be expensive for families
OMS is a great place to live due to proximity of UCSD campus and access to other housing communities. Students with families may find it difficult to manage living cost due to rent hike applied in January 2022. Still more affordable option compared to equivalent off-campus housing.

Nice Area
Overall great experience living here. The walls are quite thick so talking normally and working doesn't disturb your roommate especially when in your own bedrooms with the doors closed. Since I'm in building 2, my apartment faces the freeway which has a lot of white noise, but I generally prefer it that way. I generally get a lot of sunlight in the late afternoon. The place does look a little old but that is to be expected with the age of the apartment and also the price of the rent. You are also allowed to have up to 2 cats so that's always a plus. Only downside is that if you submit a maintenance request, they might not notify you of time of entry.

Not too bad
My room is near the highway roads, so it is noisy during daytimes, you can still hear it even you close the windows. But in the nights, the situations would be better.
OMS is old compared to MN, NE, NW, we don't have a gym or pool, so I need to go to other apartment's gym. The furnitures inside seems good though, and if there is a problem, the GFH would fix it quickly.
