High highs, low lows

We’ll start with the highs. Very spacious and the apartment itself has had few issues. If you wanted to, you could make it feel like a home. The area feels safe and the neighbors are nice! However…. The first unit I moved into was infested with roaches and we had to move out. In the process of moving we also dealt with very negative comments from the office. I still don’t really feel at ease about talking with them today. Also the commute to UAB is longish ~35 minutes between 7-9 am or 3:30-6 pm. Can be up to 45/50 minutes. But when it’s not commuter hours it’s only 20 minutes. Just important for future students to know!
