Extremely Old
The building is really old and comes with al the problems that an old house could have. Creaky floors, outdated thermostats, rusted pipes and mold that just won't go away.

Beautiful Neighborhood Close to Campus
This apartment was really one of the best I've lived in as a student.
Pros:
-On a bus line that picks up right in front of apartment and drops right by Grainger 8 minutes later (runs every 30 minutes)
-Near campus, grocery stores, pharmacies, and Hilldale Mall area
-Gorgeous area, right in between two beautiful, wooded parks; Frank Lloyd Wright house in the area, great architecture in the neighborhood generally -- awesome walking
-Apartments have dishwashers and balconies
-Relatively spacious rooms
-Relatively inexpensive
-Chill neighbors
-Parking spots (paid), but also on-street parking close

-Buildings are a little old, though not run down in any way

Great neighborhood
The apartment is spacious and of medium to high quality. It has a dishwasher and basement laundry. The neighborhood is what makes this place great. I am in between Hoyt Park and Quarry Park, both beautiful wooded areas. There are old growth trees everywhere. Only graduate students and young families live in the complex and the 14 bus line takes me right to Grainger from my front door. There are a bunch of nice restaurants on University and shopping and groceries at Hilldale and Pick n' Save.
