A Nice Apartment, Maybe Not Worth Price
I really like my apartment, but I just do not know if it is worth the price now that rent has gone up in Madison. When I signed my 1L year, I signed a two-year lease paying $1380 (including parking) a month. This was definitely more doable because it is a nice apartment with in-unit laundry, a couple of community rooms, a sky deck with a glorious view, updated appliances, etc. There is a gym in the building, and we are provided with a free membership, however, it is a gym that is open to the public and is quite small. It is a pretty quiet apartment complex with few undergrads - it is mostly grad students and young professionals which is really nice! It is a bit farther from campus than I would like, but I would recommend it overall.

Great brand new building - Lots of amenities
The gym is fantastic. Secure building in a great area away from downtown. Management is okay at best. Hard to get things done.

Great brand new building - Lots of amenities
Brand new building that includes a Grace coffee and Peter Krause fitness. Courtyard, rooftop, and social areas included. Very secure and allows pets. Apartments themselves have large closets and tall windows that allow for plenty of sunlight. The location is not downtown but is next to a bus line that brings you right there. Instead, you're between two lakes, a park, the zoo, and Arboretum!
