Perfect for a Young Adult!
As a law student at UW Madison, I am thoroughly enjoying living here. The building is far enough away from campus that I don't need to deal with undergrads, but close enough for a short commute. The building is only one block off of multiple bus routes, or a short 15 minute bike ride to Bascom Hill. The building is also located three blocks from a grocery store and a mere 10-15 minute walk to the Capitol (the site of lots of fun restaurants and bars). The only downside to this building's location is that it is right next to the railroad in an area that does not have railroad crossing barricades (which means trains blow their horns at times of the day and night).
Other than that, the building itself is wonderful. Rent is relatively low compared to what most 1 bedrooms in Madison cost. Neighbors are respectful. Apartments are clean, well-maintained, and generally up to date. Management is very responsive to all maintenance requests (usually addressing them in less than 24 hours). The only downside is that there is no central a/c, but there are effective wall-units, they just run the electric bill up high in summer months. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy living here and would highly recommend it to any young adult in Madison.
