I really like where I live and am probably going to renew
I live southwest of the capitol, it's about a 15-20 min walk to Grainger. I did not have any stress finding my place, I used craigslist originally and then from there contacted the realty company around the beginning to mid-July and moved in August 15th. They have fixed any problem that I have had (but took a monthish but addressed my additional concerns) and my place is spacious with a small 1st floor balcony (not really a balcony). I feel safe enough leaving sliding doors unlocked and jumping over the balcony and going for a run on Lake Monona, I even made friends with my neighbor. If you live on the lake side, which I do not, you have a spectacular view, the only downside is that you hear the train go by twice a day, you don't hear that on my side.
