First class
2550 University has been a great place to live! The management can be grumpy, but there is no need for much interaction with them. The apartment and appliances are state-of-the-art. Washer and dryer are in-unit. It is located on the west side of campus (near the UW hospital), so attracts more of the business professional type. A short distance from Lake Mendota with several running paths and fields for outdoor activities. There are restaurants and coffee shops at the base of the apartment complex. Several other restaurants and grocery stores are right down the street. I have felt extremely safe living by myself here. It served as a wonderful and inviting home the last couple of years.
