Quiet and Cozy Building

Wingra Point is a comfortable and quiet building 1.3 miles south of campus. There are two bus lines that take you directly up Park street to campus.

My 2nd year at Wingra Residences

Wingra Point Residences are in a quieter neighborhood just 1 mile south of Grainger. They are pet friendly, have two group rooms, and a rooftop balcony where you can watch fireworks on the 4th of July. They are within 3 blocks of two great parks - brittingham (on Menona) and villas (on Wingra). The inside of the apartments is modern and has thick walls to keep loud neighbors to a minimum. All residences have a patio. The apartment also comes with an outdoor grill open year-round.

My first year at Wingra Point Residences

Wingra Point Residences is a phenomenal place to live if you are a pet owner. It is directly one mile south of Grainger Hall (approx. 12-15 min walk) and resides directly between lakes Wingra and Menona. It lies right next to Park street making transportation very easy to come by. If you do not have a vehicle, it has a garage for bikes and the bus system goes right by the apartment complex. It is slightly expensive if you are a single person, but if you are in a relationship or married, it would be a great place to live. My one BR, one bath apartment is a circle with large closet space. I have a patio and a large kitchen with an excessive granite tabletop and cabinet space. The apartment complex is fairly new (within the last 2-3 years) and is in a very nice neighborhood. There is a grill on the first floor patio and a gym in the apartment complex (it is small, but has enough if you are a basic gym-goer). The walls are thick, so you do not hear your neighbors, and it has a wide variety of people that live here. Students, single people, and retirees. The management is very quick to respond to issues (I had a fire alarm that wouldn't stop beeping when I first moved in) and is extremely friendly. The only downside is if you want to live by a bunch of students you would probably rather life on the east side.
