There are pluses and minuses
The Lane Apartments is a nice and quiet residential place, it has gym and community room for celebrations. Maintenance is responsive, they quickly fix any issues, even during off hours. However, electricity bill is very high during peak winter and summer, and this is all not even keeping our A/C on all the time. We try to save on electricity a lot, but even then our bill is around $250-$330 in January and June-July. There are definitely temperature control issues. We are staying on the third floor (which is actually first residential floor), with our windows facing courtyard, and there is less sunlight in our apartment. I would recommend taking an apartment with windows facing street. Also, since our windows face courtyard, we have some privacy issues if blinds are not closed. Also, we are charged for common area electricity and water usage, which is 25% of our bill, and keeps increasing every month, which is not convenient, what means no matter how much we are trying to save, our bill is still increasing.

Quiet, Clean, Accessible
This apartment is wonderful to live. The maintenance staff is always on-site performing routine activities and are friendly. The garage has plenty of space and is secure. The location is under a 10-minute drive from campus each day. Lastly, the location is within walking distance from high-quality food and shopping.
